INAUGURATION OF SGAY HOUSE UNDER 11-NAMCHI SINGITHANG AC
Namchi, 8 October: Three newly constructed houses under the Sikkim Garib Awas Yojana (SGAY) were formally inaugurated and handed over to the beneficiaries under the 11-Namchi Singithang Constituency today on 08.10.2026.
The beneficiaries are
1. Mr Somdutth Rai, Lower Mickhola Ward under Mickhola Singithang GPU.
2. Mr Mohan Darjee, Gairigaon Ward, Mickhola Singithang GPU.
3. Mr Netesh Tamang, Lower Phallidara Ward under Maniram-Phalidara GPU.
The newly constructed houses were formally inaugurated by Area MLA Shri. Satish Chandra Rai in the presence of Advisor Panchayati Raj Smt. Rama Tamang, OSD to MLA Shri. S.J. Lepcha, BDO Namchi Shri.Upendra Rai, A.E BAC Namchi Shri. Nilesh Rai, J.E(SGAY) Shri. Sumiran Ramudamu, along with Hon'ble Panchayat Presidents and Ward Panchayats of 32-Maniram Phalidara and Mickhola Singithang GPU.
Sikkim Garib Awas Yojana is an eminent initiative of the State Government which aims to improve the quality of life of economically disadvantaged people by providing them houses equipped with essential facilities.
On the occasion, Area MLA Shri. Satish Chandra Rai congratulated all the beneficiaries on receiving their newly constructed and well-furnished houses.
The beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the State Government and Hon'ble Chief Minister of Sikkim Shri. Prem Singh Tamang(Golay) for providing them houses under the scheme.
The initiative reflects the State Government's continued commitment towards providing dignified housing and improving the living conditions of economically disadvantaged families across the State.
