Sikkim Travel and Tourism Fair to Promote Sikkim as a Premier Travel Destination
Gangtok, Sikkim:
The Sikkim Travel and Tourism Fair (STTF) is being organized by Panda Event Management, in collaboration with the Tourism & Civil Aviation Department, Government of Sikkim, with the objective of showcasing Sikkim’s diverse tourism offerings and strengthening linkages between the State’s tourism industry and the wider travel trade.
The fair will bring together travel agents, tour operators, hoteliers, homestay operators, hospitality professionals, tourism entrepreneurs and other industry stakeholders on a common platform to facilitate business networking, knowledge exchange and new tourism partnerships.
The event will showcase Sikkim’s distinctive tourism experiences, including nature and adventure tourism, rural and community-based tourism, culture and heritage, wellness, cuisine, homestays and sustainable tourism experiences.
A key focus of the fair will be to promote the State’s emerging and lesser-known destinations while providing greater visibility to local tourism enterprises and community-based tourism initiatives. The platform is also expected to create opportunities for local stakeholders to connect directly with travel trade partners and explore new markets.
The fair will feature B2B interactions, destination presentations, networking sessions and promotional activities, providing participants with an opportunity to understand emerging travel trends and develop collaborative tourism products for visitors from different markets.
The initiative reflects the shared commitment of Panda Event Management and the Tourism & Civil Aviation Department, Government of Sikkim, towards strengthening Sikkim’s tourism ecosystem and promoting responsible, sustainable and experiential tourism.
Through the Sikkim Travel and Tourism Fair, Sikkim will further showcase its unique identity as a destination where nature, culture, adventure and community come together, while creating new opportunities for tourism-led economic activity and local employment.
