A delegation of senior journalists from Himachal Pradesh paid a courtesy call on the Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur.
Today, a delegation of senior journalists from Himachal Pradesh paid a courtesy call on the Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, at Lokbhawan.
This visit was part of the Media International Study Tour organised by the Directorate General of Information and Broadcasting (DGB) under the aegis of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB).
The delegation was led by Shri Sanjeev Kumar Sharma (IIS), Assistant Director, PIB.
During this courtesy visit, the Hon'ble Governor and senior journalists from Himachal Pradesh had a meaningful discussion on several topics, including the rich culture, governance systems, and various important issues related to tourism development of both the hill states.
The Honorable Governor, while speaking to journalists, said that such inter-state tours not only provide journalists with an opportunity to understand the development projects underway at the grassroots level, but also strengthen cultural bridges between the states.
