Gyalshing & Soreng, Sikkim | September 2026
The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, through Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), invites all youth aged 15 to 29 across Gyalshing and Soreng districts to participate in the 30th National Youth Festival – Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2027, scheduled from 10th to 12th January 2027 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Building on the vision of 'Viksit Bharat @2047', this event aims to engage young minds and provide outstanding participants the opportunity to present their ideas directly to the Hon'ble Prime Minister.  
Five-Stage Selection Process: Participants must progress through an online Quiz (17 Aug – 30 Sep 2026), an Essay Writing competition (05 – 09 Oct 2026), District Championships (PPT), State VBYLD, and finally the National Dialogue. Participation across all stages is completely free of charge.  
Four Competition Tracks:
Viksit Bharat Challenge Track: Covers 10 thematic areas including future governance, climate security, demographic dividend, sustainable industrialisation, and green growth.
Cultural Track: Features district and state-level events such as folk dance, folk song, painting, poetry, and declamation.  
Innovate for Bharat: Comprises Design for Bharat, Hack for Social Cause, and the Youth Entrepreneurs Challenge.  
Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament: Engages young leaders in policy formulation and debate.
