Homoeopathic Health Camp cum SCSP Homoeopathic Wellness Kit Distribution Conducted at Lower Arithang, Gangtok.
Gangtok, Sikkim | 27 August 2026: The Clinical Research Unit (T) for Homoeopathy, Gangtok, under the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, organised a Homoeopathic Medical Camp at Lower Arithang, Gangtok, to provide accessible homoeopathic healthcare services and basic health screening to the local community.
A total of 130 patients attended the medical camp and received homoeopathic medical consultation and health screening. As part of the camp, essential health parameters including Blood Pressure (BP), Random Blood Sugar (RBS), Oxygen Saturation (SpO₂), Pulse Rate, and Haemoglobin (Hb) were assessed.
The medical camp was conducted by a team from the Clinical Research Unit (T), Gangtok, comprising:
- Dr. Santosh Kumar Tamang, OIC/Research Officer (S-2)
- Dr. Shankha Subhra Patra, Junior Research Fellow (Homoeopathy)
- Mr. Richard Lapcha, Homoeopathic Pharmacist
- Mrs. Karuna Chettri, Laboratory Technician
- Mr. Milan Basnet, MTS
- Mr. Bharat Dulal, MTS
The camp provided an opportunity for community members to access homoeopathic consultation and basic health assessment services close to their locality.
The Clinical Research Unit (T), Gangtok, expresses its sincere gratitude to Mrs. Sara Lama, Deputy Mayor, for her valuable support and cooperation in facilitating the successful organisation of the medical camp.
