Pakyong, 27th July: Awareness Programme on National Scholarship Portal Conducted at Rolep Senior Secondary School, Pakyong District.
The Social Welfare Department, Pakyong District, has launched a series of awareness programmes across schools and educational institutions to promote the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). The NSP portal has been open for applications since June 2026 and will remain open till 31st August 2026.
To ensure that all eligible students are informed about the various scholarship schemes and the online application process, institution-wise awareness programmes have been scheduled throughout Pakyong District.
As part of this initiative, a team of officials from the Social Welfare Department, led by the District Nodal Officer (DNO), Pakyong, Shri Krishna Rai , Welfare Inspector Shri RahulTamang and other officials visited Government Senior Secondary Rolep School today . The team interacted with students, the Institute Nodal Officer, and school authorities. A live demonstration of the NSP login and application process was conducted, followed by an interactive awareness session for students and teachers.
During the programme, officials explained the various scholarship schemes available under NSP, eligibility criteria, required documents, registration procedure, and the importance of submitting applications within the stipulated deadline.
The team also addressed queries raised by students and encouraged all eligible applicants to complete their applications well before 31st August 2026 to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
