Health and Family Welfare Department Observes Nasha Mukt Saptah 2026
The Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Sikkim, administered the Oath/Pledge against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on 23rd June 2026 at the Health Department Conference Hall as part of the observance of Nasha Mukt Saptah 2026.
The pledge ceremony was presided over by Shri Tshewang Gyachho , IAS, Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, and was attended by Principal Directors, Mission Director, NHM, Special Secretary, Directors, senior officers, officers and staff of the Department.
The participants collectively took the pledge reaffirming their commitment to creating awareness against drug abuse and preventing illicit trafficking of drugs, in line with the objectives of Nasha Mukt Saptah and the observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2026.
The programme witnessed active participation from officers and staff, reflecting the Department's commitment towards building a drug-free and healthier society.
