Nasha Mukt Saptah 2026 under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan
Gyalshing, 19 June: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Saptah 2026 under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, the anti-drug pledge was administered across Gyalshing District to reaffirm the collective commitment towards a drug-free society.
The pledge was administered on 18 June 2026 at the District Administrative Centre (DAC), Gyalshing, by the District Collector, Gyalshing, Shri Tenzing D. Denzongpa, where officers and officials participated and pledged their support towards the nationwide movement against substance abuse.
Continuing the campaign, the pledge was also administered today across various government offices and institutions in the district, including the Sub-Divisions of Yuksom and Dentam, as well as the Block Administrative Centres and other government establishments, ensuring widespread participation throughout the district.
The initiative witnessed active participation from officers and officials, reflecting the district's collective resolve to combat substance abuse and promote a healthy, responsible and drug-free society.
The pledge programme forms part of the nationwide Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan – "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, Viksit Bharat Ki Pehchaan", aimed at encouraging individuals and institutions to take a stand against drug abuse and contribute towards building a safer and healthier society.
