MLA Satish Chandra Rai Inaugurates SGAY House at Lower Phalidara.
Namchi, June 1: A newly constructed house under the Sikkim Garib Awas Yojana (SGAY) was inaugurated today at Lower Phalidara Ward under Maniram–Phalidara GPU by the Area MLA 11-Namchi Singithang Constituency, Mr Satish Chandra Rai.
The SGAY house, belonging to Mr Nanda Pradhan, was formally inaugurated in the presence of the Advisor, Panchayati Raj Department Ms Rama Tamang; OSD to MLA Mr S J Lepcha; former Chairman, Mr Tashi Tamang; BDO Namchi BAC Mr Upendra Rai and AE Mr Nilesh Rai.
The programme was organised by the Maniram–Phalidara Gram Panchayat Unit under the leadership of the Panchayat President Mr Sonam Tamang, along with the Panchayat Members.
Addressing the gathering, the MLA highlighted the significance of the Sikkim Garib Awas Yojana in providing safe and dignified housing to deserving beneficiaries. He stated the Government’s commitment towards improving the living standards of rural households and ensuring inclusive development across the State.
