Gangtok, 7th May: Mr Rohan Agawane, IAS, has officially assumed charge as the District Collector, Gangtok, with effect from today.
Prior to this assignment, Mr Rohan Agawane served as the District Collector of Pakyong District.
Meanwhile, Mr Tushar Nikhare, IAS, has been relieved of his duties as District Collector, Gangtok, following his posting as Secretary, Planning & Development Department, Government of Sikkim.
Mr Tushar Nikhare served as District Collector, Gangtok, from January 7, 2023, to May 7, 2026.
