MANGALBAREY SUB-DIVISION A OFFICE, SORENG DISTRICT.
A three-day training programme for Batch No. 582 in preparation for Census 2027 was successfully concluded on 8th April 2027 at the Training Hall, BAC Mangalbarey.
The inaugural session was graced by Hon’ble MLA Mr. Erung Tenzing Lepcha of Rinchenpong Constituency, who motivated and encouraged the trainees. Other dignitaries present included Mr. R.K. Wailing, Chairman, Temi Tea Board; Mrs. Pem Phuki Bhutia, Advisor, Printing & Stationery Department, Mr. D. P. Sharma OSD, Road and Bridges, Hon'ble Zillas and Hon'ble Panchayat Presidents, Mr. D. N. Sharma, SDM, Mangalbarey, who is also serving as the Charge Officer for the census operations.
The training was conducted by census field trainers Mrs. Dadgyal Lama, BDO, Kaluk; Mr. M.D. Subba, BDO, Mangalbarey; and Mr. Ashish Kumar, Statistical Investigator from the Census Department.
During the sessions, officials provided both theoretical and hands-on training to enumerators and supervisors, covering various questionnaires and data collection procedures. The training aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills and understanding for the upcoming census activities.
Additionally, appointment letters and identity cards were distributed to the enumerators and supervisors during the programme.
