Day 5 of Highway Coverage Drive under Mission Clean Sky
Stretch covered: Station Gurudwara, Ganju Lama Dwar to Seesa Golai
Gangtok, 8th April 2026: The inspection, held from 10 am to 2 pm, was led by the Assistant Collector, Gangtok, along with officials from concerned departments and representatives from various ISP companies.
Besides the overhead wires issue, all administrative issues along the highway are being dealt with by this drive. For this, personnel from Smart City, Power, Roads and Bridges, PHE, GMC, Forest, and Police have been coming daily for inspections, and all related issues are being addressed, with directions being issued by the Assistant Collector for rectification. Oversight is being maintained by the District Collector for effective implementation and governance.
The drive will conclude tomorrow near Vajra.
