The Third and Final Day of the Training Programme for Supervisors and Enumerators under the First Phase (House Listing Block) of Census 2027 Concludes at Yuksam Sub-Division
Gyalshing, April 4:The third and final day of the training programme for Supervisors and Enumerators under the First Phase (House Listing Block) of Census 2027 was successfully conducted under Yuksam Sub-District today.
During the session, all Supervisors and Enumerators successfully completed the Self-Enumeration exercise and further participated in field-based practical training for the House Listing Block (HLB) Census, gaining real-time exposure to enumeration activities. The field sessions were conducted under the guidance and supervision of Mr Sanman Limboo and Ms Geeta Kumari Gurung, both serving as District Field Trainers, who provided hands-on training and valuable practical insights to the participants.
Mr Sonu Ram, Statistical Investigator, was also present during the session to facilitate and address technical challenges faced by the trainees in the HLO application.
All Appointment Orders and ID cards were formally handed over to the trainees by Mr Jesse P. Targain,SDM Yuksam. The programme was also attended by Mr Puran Sharma, Additional Charge Officer.
Addressing the trainees, Mr Targain, SDM-cum-Charge Officer, extended his best wishes to all appointed Supervisors and Enumerators for the successful conduct of the upcoming House Listing Block Census, scheduled from 16th April to 15th May 2026, and emphasised the importance of accuracy, dedication, and accountability in ensuring quality data collection.
A feedback session was also conducted upon completion of the training, wherein all trainees shared their experiences and expressed appreciation for the quality and effectiveness of the training imparted over the past three days.
The successful completion of the training programme marks a significant step towards the effective implementation of Census 2027 in Yuksam Sub-District.
