Today, on the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim Shri Om Prakash Mathur bowed his head at the Hanuman Temple located in Hanuman Tok for the welfare, peace and prosperity of the whole world.
Hon'ble Chief Minister Mr. Prem Singh Tamang had a dignified presence on this occasion. 17 Mountain Division General Officer Commanding (GOC) Major General M.S. Rathore, various ministers, the Director General of state police, senior officers and a large number of devotees were also present.
17 Mountain Division organised Hawan in the presence of the Honourable Governor. The program started with the worship of Ganapati ji and waterabhishek of Lord Shiva. After this, the Honourable Governor joined the Hawan along with the devotees and made a request.
Then the formal worship of Hanuman Baba was done.
During the whole program, the atmosphere became beautiful with the announcement of "Jai Shri Ram".
