A delegation of the Cooperation Department, Government of Uttarakhand, was accorded a warm welcome by the Sikkim Cooperation Department.
A delegation is led by Secretary Dr. Ahmed Iqbal (IAS) with 10 officers of the Cooperation Department.
The purpose of the visit is to gain insight into the cooperative framework and institutional practices in Sikkim and also to observe the functioning of cooperative societies, particularly in the context of organic farming in the State.
