72nd Battalion SSB Yuksam Celebrates Ram Navami with Devotion and Community Spirit
Gyalshing,March 27:On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, the 72nd Battalion of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Yuksam, hosted a grand and soulful celebration today within the battalion premises, marking the festival with deep spiritual fervor and traditional rituals.
The festivities commenced at the battalion’s Sarva Dharma Prarthana Sthal (All-Religion Prayer Hall), symbolising the unit’s commitment to secularism and mutual respect. A highlight of the morning was the 'Kanya Pujan', a sacred ritual where young girls are honored as embodiments of divine energy. This ceremony was performed with great reverence by the officers and personnel.
Following the prayers, a 'Bhandara' (community feast) was organised for all ranks and their families. The event saw enthusiastic participation, transforming the campus into a hub of joy and camaraderie.
