Hon'ble Governor Shri Om Prakash Mathur participated in the flag rally on M.G. Marg on the eve of Ramnavami.
Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim Mr. Om Prakash Mathur, attended the Flag Yatra (Kalash Yatra, Shobha Yatra) held today at M.G. Marg on the eve of Ramnavami festival. Hon'ble Chief Minister Mr. Prem Singh Tamang had a special presence in the program.
Hon'ble Minister of Public Health Engineering and Religious Department, Mr. Sonam Lama ji, who is also the chief patron of Ramotsav Samiti, welcomed the Governor, sir.
During this time, members of the cabinet, senior officers, public representatives, officers of the Ramotsav Organising Committee and a large number of devotees were present.
The Governor, sir, expressed his best wishes on Ramnavami festival by participating in the flag rally on M.G. Marg and said that such cultural events play an important role in strengthening spiritual consciousness, cultural unity and social harmony in the society.
The atmosphere was devotional during the function and the atmosphere resonated with the declaration of "Jai Shri Ram" again and again.
Shri Ram Katha New Day Program is being organized grandly at Thakurbadi Temple from 27 March to 4 April 2026.
