Honorable Minister of Public Health Engineering and Religious Department Mr. Sonam Lama, paid a courtesy visit to Hon'ble Governor Mr. Om Prakash Mathur, at Lok Bhavan, Sikkim today.
Honourable Minister, who is also the chief patron of Ramotsav Samiti, attended the occasion along with the Chairman of Ramotsav Samiti and other executive members.
The delegation invited the Governor to the Kalash Yatra, Shobha Yatra and Flag Yatra held at Thakurbadi Temple on 26th March 2026 under the Ramnavami Festival. This event is being organised under Ram Navami festival.
In addition to this, the committee also informed the Governor about the upcoming new day Shri Ram Katha program, which will be held at Thakurbadi temple from 27 March to 4 April 2026.
The Hon'ble Governor has accepted the invitation to the committee, wishing the success of the program and said that such religious and cultural events strengthen spiritual consciousness, cultural unity and social harmony in society.
