Intra Sikkim T20 Cricket Tournament Promotes ‘Nasha Mukta Sikkim’ Mission
The Intra Sikkim T20 Cricket Tournament, organised by SAG, Gom, is being held from March 3 to March 27 at Kitam Public Playground on the occasion of Ram Navami 2026, under the theme “United for the Mission – Nasha Mukta Sikkim.”
Hon’ble Chairman, SIMFED, Shri Tenzing Dorjee Bhutia, attended the event as the Chief Guest.
Dr. Subash Tamang, Medical Consultant to HCM, invited the Chairman and expressed appreciation for his presence. During the event, Shri Bhutia lauded the initiative, highlighting the role of sports in steering youth towards a drug-free and healthy lifestyle.
He also appreciated the ongoing efforts under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) in promoting a “Nasha Mukta Sikkim” and empowering the youth through positive engagement.
The tournament aims to encourage community participation while spreading awareness against drug abuse.
