The 70th Board Meeting of SIMFED was held at Gangtok today, alongside the Managing Director, Shri Bhaskar Basnett and esteemed members of the Board
I extend a warm welcome to Hon’ble Advisor Shri Anandd Llama and express my sincere gratitude to all dignitaries, departmental officials, and elected representatives from cooperative societies across the state for their valuable presence and contributions.
The meeting was highly productive and farmer-centric, with key discussions focused on strengthening the marketing of local agri-horticultural produce and enhancing support systems for our farming community. The Statement of Accounts for the financial year ending 31st March 2025 reflected a significant improvement over the previous year, marking a positive step forward for SIMFED.
