BLOCK-LEVEL REVIEW MEETING ON SAMPOORNATA ABHIYAN 2.0 CONVENED AT DARAMDIN BAC
Soreng, March 19: A Block-level review meeting concerning the implementation and progress of Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 under the Aspirational District Programme was conducted today at the Daramdin Block Administrative Centre (BAC). The meeting aimed to evaluate the current status of developmental indicators and strategies for the sustained progress of the block.
The session was chaired by the Block Development Officer (BDO) Daramdin, Mr Ongdi Sherpa, and was attended by the Panchayat members from various Gram Panchayat Units (GPUs) of Daramdin Block, officials representing various line departments. They were joined by Mr Dev Nepal from the Piramal Foundation and Mr Aditya Raj Sharma, Aspirational Block Fellow (ABF).
During the session, Mr Dev Nepal and Mr Aditya Raj Sharma, facilitated the meeting by presenting a detailed analysis of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) under Sampoornata 1.0 and Sampoornata 2.0, highlighting that a significant majority of the targeted KPIs have already reached saturation. The discussion underscored that the current phase requires strategic interventions to sustain the progress achieved and to ensure that the benefits of these indicators continue to reach the community effectively.
All block functionaries and departmental heads were requested to maintain a collaborative approach to ensure the successful completion and sustained saturation of all remaining targets.
Addressing the gathering, the BDO Daramdin commended the various line departments for their consistent and effortless work in the field. The BDO noted that the collective dedication of the departments has been instrumental in the block's positive performance under the Aspirational District Programme.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to work in tandem for the holistic development of the Daramdin Block.
