Coordination Meeting Successfully Conducted at Sikkim University, Yangang
Namchi, 18 March : A productive coordination meeting was held under the guidance of Hon’ble Deputy speaker cum Area MLA Smt. Raj Kumari Thapa, at Sikkim University, Yangang, in the presence of distinguished officials including Prof. Shri Santanu Kumar Swain, Vice Chancellor of Sikkim University; Shri R.K. Basnet, IFFCO Chairman; Smt. Denkila Bhutia, OSD to HMLA; Shri K.L. Dahal, SDM Yangang; Shri S.B. Rai, OSD to Agriculture; Smt. Needay Bhutia, BDO Yangang; Shri Laxuman Sharma, Registrar of Sikkim University; Zilla Panchayat members; Panchayat members; YTDC members; along with other departmental officials, local representatives, and stakeholders.
Key issues related to drainage management, power infrastructure, drinking water supply, road development, campus security, and land matters were discussed in detail during the coordination meeting. All concerned authorities assured that these matters will be taken up on priority and resolved at the earliest for the overall betterment of the area.
It was further assured that necessary steps will be initiated promptly to ensure timely resolution, effective implementation, and visible improvement on the ground.
