Sensitisation Programme on Basic Life Support and Primary First Aid.

As per the direction of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, a sensitisation programme on Basic Life Support (BLS) and Primary First Aid was successfully conducted by Community Health Centre (CHC), Rhenock.
The programme was organised for School Health Ambassadors from all government and private schools under the jurisdiction of Rhenock CHC, with the objective of enhancing their knowledge and preparedness in handling medical emergencies.
A team was led by the Medical Officer & in charge, BPM, HE, Counsellor and Staff Nurse.
During the session, participants were trained on essential life-saving techniques, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), management of choking, handling unconscious patients, control of bleeding, and basic first aid measures. Demonstrations and practical sessions were conducted to ensure better understanding and skill development.
The programme emphasised the importance of timely intervention and the role of school health ambassadors in ensuring the safety and well-being of students within school premises.
The session was well-received, with active participation from attendees. It served as an important step towards building a safer and more responsive school environment.
