Namchi, 17 March : Following the Mukhyamantri Jansamvad (Connect to CM) video interaction held on 10th March 2026, an initiative of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim Shri Prem Singh Tamang, the Resource Officer to HCM Shri Surjoy Pradhan along with officials from the Chief Minister’s Office visited the Ravangla Block Administrative Centre to personally hand over cheques and job orders to the beneficiaries who had participated in the interaction.
The beneficiaries included Milan Chettri (Upper Ralong, Lungsing), Indra Kumar Chettri (Lower Deythang), Sonam Wangdi Lama (Lower Ralong), Chewang Sherpa (Bakhim, Tengaymendang), Ashmita Rai (Lower Gangla), Abhinay Gurung (Khop), Dil Kumar Rai (Lower Gangla) and Demila Bhutia (Sangmoo Rangkey) representing both Barfung and Rangang–Yangang Constituencies.
The distribution programme was held in the presence of Additional Political Secretary to HCM Shri Bishnu Sharma, ADC (Development) Ravangla Shri Dek Prasad Dahal, OSD to MLA Barfung Shri Shiva Kumar Rai, BDO Ravangla Shri BB Tamang, CLC President Barfung Shri Narayan Gopal Gurung, CLC President Rangang–Yangang Shri Tengayla Namaka, State Youth Executive Shri Wang Tashi Bhutia, Panchayat Inspectors, Social Media Executives Shri Devendra Sutar and Shri Krishna Pradhan, along with the beneficiaries and their family members.
The Connect to CM initiative has emerged as an effective platform enabling direct interaction between the government and the grassroots, ensuring that the genuine concerns of the people are addressed promptly. The beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang Golay for his visionary leadership and for extending timely support during their hour of need.
