Report: "Connect to CM" Beneficiary Event at Kabi Tingda BAC
Location: Kabi Tingda Block Administrative Centre

Following the directions issued by the Hon’ble Chief Minister (HCM) of Sikkim during the inaugural virtual meeting with beneficiaries, BDOs, OSDs, and Political representatives, a distribution program was held at the Kabi Tingda BAC. The event marked the successful realisation of the "Connect to CM" initiative, providing immediate employment and medical relief to local citizens. The Joint Secretary Mrs. Sapana Lama personally visited the BAC to facilitate the handover.
Three beneficiaries received their official Appointment Letters, marking a "dream come true" moment for their professional careers.
One beneficiary was granted medical assistance amounting to ₹1,00,000 to support urgent healthcare needs.
The Block Development Officer (BDO) of Kabi opened the session, welcoming the visiting officials and outlining the impact of the HCM's direct communication strategy. The Joint Secretary presented the appointment orders and medical aid.
The beneficiaries expressed profound thanks to the HCM for the swift intervention, offering prayers for his continued health and leadership.
Afternoon Session:
In the afternoon, the Hon'ble Member of the Legislative Assembly (HMLA) visited the BAC to personally congratulate the recipients.
The HMLA offered khadas to the four beneficiaries as a gesture of support and celebration.In his address, the HMLA advised the new appointees to maintain strict regularity and dedication in their respective offices.
The HMLA extended his gratitude to the HCM for identifying and selecting "genuine" beneficiaries who were in true need of state support.
