One Week Advanced Geriatric Caregiver - Health Monitoring & Home Care Technology Workshop Concludes at Livelihood School, Dentam
Gyalshing,March 16:The one-week "Advanced Geriatric Caregiver - Health Monitoring & Home Care Technology Workshop" successfully concluded at the Government Livelihood School, Dentam,today.
Organised by the State Institute of Capacity Building (SICB) under the Skill Development Department, Government of Sikkim, the programme aimed to upskill caregivers serving the elderly population.
The valedictory ceremony was graced by Shri Dilli Ram Pradhan, Panchayat Member (Mangmoo-Dentam GPU) as the Chief guest and Smt Sangita Subba, Panchayat Member (Mangmoo-Dentam GPU) as the Guest of Honour.
The workshop was conducted by the Women, Child, Senior Citizen and Divyangjan Welfare Department, Government of Sikkim, under the Atal Vayo Abhyuday Yojana (AVYAY) of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. This advanced module provided specialized training to the 2023-2024 batch of caregivers, focusing on modern health monitoring devices and digital home-care technology.
