Mangan, March 16: Hon’ble Minister for Social Welfare cum Area MLA Lachen Mangan Constituency Shri Samdup Lepcha visited Chungthang Tasa Tengay Senior Secondary School and also toured Chungthang Bazar.
The Minister interacted with the school authorities, the Principal, teachers, and local residents. During the visit, he took note of the situation in the area and carefully listened to the concerns shared by the people.
Later, he held a meeting with members of the public who were affected by the GLOF. Many residents shared the difficulties and challenges they are facing in the aftermath of the disaster. He assured them that the government is aware of their situation and is committed to providing the necessary support.
The Minister also encouraged everyone to remain strong and continue cooperating with the authorities during the recovery process. The visit helped him better understand the ground situation and reaffirmed his commitment to addressing the local community's concerns.
