Namchi, 13 March : A team from the Institute for Transforming Sikkim (ITS), led by its Vice Chairman Mr. Chandra Prasad Sharma, along with Members Ms. Namrata Thapa, Dr. Sangey Dorjee Bhutia, Dr. Bharat Chandra Basista, Dr. Neeraj Adhikari, and Shri James S. Lepcha, conducted an extensive field visit to the Herbal, Medical, Spiritual Healing and Yoga Complex at Nandugaon under Namchi District today. The project is being executed by the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department, Government of Sikkim.
During the inspection, the team reviewed the progress of the ongoing construction works and interacted with the State Executive Members of Heavenly Nirvana Path to assess the development status of the complex.
The Vice Chairman of ITS directed the concerned authorities to ensure the timely completion of the project while maintaining quality standards in the use of materials and construction practices.
The ITS team also conducted a surprise inspection of the State Poultry and Hatching Farm and the State Dairy Farm at Kafectars, where they reviewed the functioning of the farms and took stock of the existing infrastructure and facilities.
The visit forms part of the Institute’s ongoing efforts to monitor developmental initiatives and ensure effective implementation of government projects across the State.
