Namchi, 12 March : The Three Days Training Programme on Women Empowerment & Nari Adalat was successfully conducted from 10th–12th March 2026 at Yangang Rangang GPU, Yangang Block, Namchi District.
The programme was organised by 06–Yangang Rangang Gram Panchayat Unit in collaboration with the Zilla Panchayat Member, 06–Yangang Territorial, aiming to strengthen women’s empowerment, awareness, and community participation.
The event was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Raj Kumari Thapa, Area MLA & Deputy Speaker, along with Smt. Denkila Bhutia, OSD to HMLA Rangang–Yangang, Shri K. L. Dahal, SDM Yangang, Smt Leela Kumari Rai, Zilla Panchayat Member, Smt Krishna Parda Rai, Panchayat President, along with Panchayat Members, resource persons, local public, and GPU staff.
The programme focused on empowering women, strengthening justice mechanisms through Nari Adalat, and promoting awareness for a more inclusive and progressive society.
