72nd Battalion SSB Yuksam, organises School Safety and Community Awareness Programme at Govt SSS Tashiding.
Gyalshing, February 24:The 72nd Battalion, Sashastra Seema Bal, Yuksam, organised a School Safety Programme and Community Awareness Programme at Government Senior Secondary School, Tashiding. The event was conducted in collaboration with the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and the Forest Department,Gyalshing.
Under the guidance of Shri Narayan Ram Khadaw, Second-in-Command, 72nd Battalion, SSB, the programme aimed to create awareness on disaster management and safety measures. Around 400 students and 75 teachers,from Govt SSS Tashiding and nearby schools, attended the event.
The participants received practical training on first aid, stretcher construction, debris evacuation, and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). The SSB's initiative was highly appreciated, and the participants expressed gratitude for the valuable knowledge imparted.
