Health Camp & Screening Programme at GFPF.
A Health Camp and Screening Programme was successfully conducted today at the Government Fruit Preservation Factory. The medical team from Singtam District Hospital comprised Dr. Subham Dhamala, Medical Officer, with coordination and assistance by Dr. Birendra Chettri. Mr. Sukhraj Subba, Senior MPHW, was also present.
The NCD screening team was led by Dr. Pragya Gautam, conducting PBS which included BMI, Hypertension (HTN), and Diabetes Mellitus (DM). The team included Dr. Anuja Dhakal, Mrs. Sheela Gautam, Mr. Tulshi Dhakal, and Mrs. Sita Sharma.
Mental Health Services were provided by Ms. Sonam P Tongden and Ms. Pinki Bhutia. The MVC Van Team was led by Dr. Rajiv Raj Panday, with support from Ms. Krishna Sharma, Ms. Roma Khanal, and Ms. Eleena Bhutia. The team assisted in blood investigations and viral marker screening & distributed free prescribed medicines. The camp was conducted successfully with coordinated teamwork and active participation.
The initiative reinforced the importance of preventive healthcare and early detection, contributing significantly to the overall well-being of employees and staff members. Participants benefited from professional medical consultations, diagnostic screenings, and health awareness guidance, promoting a culture of health consciousness within the workplace. The programme also highlighted the significance of regular monitoring of lifestyle-related conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity, encouraging timely medical intervention and healthier living practices.
