Post Office Inaugurated at 06–Yangang Rangang GPU with Exclusive PIN Code 737137
Namchi, 30 January: Under the dynamic leadership of the Hon’ble Deputy Speaker-cum-Area MLA, Rangang–Yangang, Smt. Raj Kumari Thapa, the Post Office at 06–Yangang Rangang GPU, was formally inaugurated with the allotment of an exclusive PIN Code 737137.
The programme was held in the august presence of Smt. Raj Kumari Thapa, Hon’ble Area MLA-cum-Deputy Speaker; Shri R. K. Basnet, Chairman, IFFCO; Shri C. L. Gurung, Advisor, Food Processing Department; Smt. Denkila Bhutia, OSD to the Area MLA; Shri S. B. Rai, OSD to the Agriculture Department, along with the SDM, BDO, and SHO of Yangang Subdivision.
Other dignitaries present included Zilla Panchayat Member Smt. Leela Rai; Smt. Prem Doma Tamang, AEO (Education); Shri Manojit Chandra, Deputy Superintendent of Post Office, Sikkim State; Smt. Saru Yalmo, Assistant Superintendent of Post Office; Smt. Seema Gurung, Inspector, Sikkim State; and Shri Mingma Sherpa, Branch Head, India Post Payments Bank (AD BDO Office).
The event was also attended by Panchayat Presidents and Members, GPU staff, and members of the general public.
The inauguration marks a significant milestone in strengthening postal, banking, and Aadhaar-related services, ensuring that essential public services are more accessible to the people of the Yangang–Rangang Constituency.
