Badminton Association of Sikkim Sends Off State Senior Team for 87th Senior National Badminton Championship 2025
The Badminton Association of Sikkim (BAS) organized a sending-off ceremony on Dec 19 for the Sikkim State Senior Badminton Team, which is representing the state at the 87th Senior National Badminton Championship 2025, scheduled to be held from December 22nd to 28th December 2025 at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
The prestigious championship is being organized by the Badminton Association of India (BAI) and will witness participation from the best badminton players across the country, competing at the highest national level.
The Badminton Association of Sikkim extended its best wishes and encouragement to the players and officials, expressing confidence in the team’s preparation, discipline, and commitment. The association highlighted that participation in such a premier national event reflects the steady growth and improving standard of badminton in Sikkim.
The association reiterated its continuous efforts to provide opportunities, exposure, and support to Sikkimese shuttlers at national platforms.
The Badminton Association of Sikkim also expressed its gratitude to the Government of Sikkim, coaches & parents, for their constant encouragement and support towards the development of badminton in the state.
