Gyalshing,December 9:Today, the final match of the Inter-Battalion Cricket Tournament was played between the 69th Battalion and the 72nd Battalion at the 03 Maneybong–Dentam Constituency Public Ground (GPU Dentam), the designated venue for the tournament under the premises of the 72nd Battalion, SSB, Yuksam (Sikkim).
The 72nd Battalion, batting first, set a competitive target by scoring 126 runs. In response, the 69th Battalion showcased exceptional batting skills and successfully chased the target, scoring 127 runs, thereby winning the final match and securing the championship title of the tournament.
The final match witnessed outstanding teamwork, discipline, and exemplary sportsmanship from both teams, making the conclusion of the tournament truly remarkable and memorable.
