Sikkim U-15 & U-17 Badminton Teams Sending-Off Ceremony for Nationals.
The Badminton Association of Sikkim (BAS) organised a warm and inspiring sending-off ceremony today at the Indoor Badminton Hall, Paljor Stadium Complex, Gangtok, for the Sikkim U-15 and U-17 State Badminton Team who will proudly represent the state at the U-15 & U-17 National Badminton Championship 2025, scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha from 1st to 6th December 2025.
The event witnessed the presence of players, parents, coaches, and Shri. Sukanta Das, General Secretary of BAS, who came together to encourage and bless the young shuttlers as they embark on this significant sporting journey.
A total of 10 players including (Boys & Girls ) , 2 coaches and 1 manager is representing the State.
The Badminton Association of Sikkim extended their heartfelt best wishes to the entire team. BAS expressed confidence that the hard work, discipline, and dedication shown by the young players under the guidance of their coaches will bring pride to the state at the national level.
The Association conveyed:
"We wish all our players, team managers, and coaches the very best for the championship. May you play with courage, discipline, and true sportsmanship, and may your efforts bring laurels to Sikkim."
The ceremony concluded with words of motivation, a token of best wishes, and a collective prayer for the team’s safe travel and successful performance in Odisha.
