Namchi, 6 November: An AYUSH Outreach Health Camp was successfully organized today at Alley Gumpa, Purano Namchi by the team of AYUSH, Namchi District Hospital under the Department of AYUSH, Government of Sikkim.
The camp featured health consultations by AYUSH doctors, along with free distribution of Homoeopathic medicines. Participants also availed free blood pressure check-ups and basic diagnostic screenings including haemoglobin and random blood sugar tests.
Beneficiaries were counseled on the importance of maintaining a balanced diet, proper nutrition, and personal hygiene for overall well-being.
The main objective of the outreach camp was to sensitize the community about the AYUSH system of medicine, highlighting its benefits and holistic approach to health and wellness.
Students, staff, and teachers from the Gumpa actively participated and availed the free services provided under the AYUSH system. A total of 58 participants benefited from the camp. Additionally, IEC materials were distributed to further raise public awareness.
