An Ongoing Continuous AYUSH Outreach Health Camp was successfully organized today at DC Office Complex by the team of AYUSH,Namchi District Hospital under the Department of AYUSH, Government of Sikkim.
The camp featured free health consultations by AYUSH doctors, along with distribution of free Homoeopathy medicines. Participants also availed free blood pressure check-ups and basic diagnostic tests such as haemoglobin and random blood sugar screenings.
Beneficiaries were provided awareness sessions on the importance of a balanced diet, proper nutrition, early diagnosis and detection, and timely intervention, particularly for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs).
The main objective of the outreach camp was to sensitize the community about the AYUSH system of medicine, its benefits, and its holistic approach to health and wellness among the general public.
Staff from the DC Office also actively participated and availed the free services provided under the AYUSH system. A total of 77 participants benefited from the camp. Additionally, Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials were distributed to raise public awareness.
