A Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) Card Generation Camp was successfully conducted at Budang GPU, Soreng, under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, District Hospital Gyalshing.
The programme was graced by the Vice President and Members from Budang GPU as the Chief Guest and Special Guest, respectively. It was also attended by Mr. I. K. Chettri (DHEO), District Hospital Gyalshing, Mrs. Kopila Sharma (MLHP/CHO), ASHA workers from Pakkigoan HWC, Mr. Namshek Subba (PMJAY Coordinator, Soreng PHC), and other supporting staff members, along with eligible beneficiaries from the locality.
The camp aimed to extend the benefits of the PMJAY–Ayushman Bharat Scheme to all eligible beneficiaries, ensuring access to quality and affordable healthcare services.
During the camp, more than 30 beneficiaries were sensitized about the scheme’s benefits, eligibility criteria, and the process for availing PMJAY services. Beneficiaries were also assisted in generating their Golden Cards on the spot, thereby facilitating their inclusion under the PMJAY coverage
