Voluntary Blood Donation Camp Successfully Organized at SIST Campus
Namcgi, 5 November: The Sikkim Institute of Science and Technology (SIST), Chisopani, successfully organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on 5th November 2025 in collaboration with the Blood Bank Department, Namchi District Hospital.
The event was conducted under the guidance and support of Prof. (Dr.) B. B. Pradhan, Director of SIST, who provided the necessary facilities and encouragement for the smooth execution of the program.
Mr. Amir Pradhan Sir played a vital role in motivating students and ensuring the proper management of the event. The Blood Bank Department team from Namchi District Hospital efficiently carried out the donation process, ensuring safety and organization throughout.
A total of several students and staff members came forward to donate blood, contributing to this noble cause. The volunteer students of SIST actively assisted in coordination and logistics, making the camp a well-managed and successful event.
The Red Ribbon Club Coordinator, Dr. C. P. Khatiwada, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all teaching and non-teaching staff, donors, and volunteers for their cooperation and participation in making the event a success.
