AYUSH Hospital Gyalshing Conducts Outreach Health Camp at Chenrezig Shingkham Riwo Potala, Pelling
Gyalshing, November 4, 2025: The 50-Bedded AYUSH Hospital, Kyongsa, under the Department of AYUSH, Government of Sikkim, organised an outreach health camp at Chenrezig Shingkham Riwo Potala, Pelling, as part of its continuous efforts to promote holistic and preventive healthcare in rural and pilgrim locations.
The health camp included general health consultations along with key diagnostic services including blood pressure monitoring, haemoglobin testing and random blood sugar screening. Beneficiaries also received counselling on healthy lifestyle practices, disease prevention and the importance of a balanced diet for overall well-being.
The camp was facilitated by a team from the AYUSH Hospital comprising Doctors Dr Menkila D Tamang and Dr Arpana Sharma, Staff Nurses Ms Meelan Gurung, Ms Nalemit Lepcha and Ms Anamika Chettri, and supporting staff members Mr Lobzang Bhutia, Mr Sambi Hang Limboo and Mr Amar Rai.
A total of 80 individuals availed of the services and benefitted from the camp.
