Sun Talks - PAILA (Program for Aspiring Innovators and Local Achievers) - is an initiative of the District Administrative Centre, Gangtok, in collaboration with Sun Pharma Sikkim and implemented by Stars Of Hope.
Sun Talks - PAILA is an initiative dedicated to nurturing entrepreneurship, innovation, and self-reliance, which aims to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with a platform to turn their ideas, passions, and dreams into impactful ventures. Through interactive workshops, expert mentorship, and hands-on training sessions, participants will gain practical knowledge and entrepreneurial skills essential for building and scaling sustainable enterprises.
The program will feature a series of workshop sessions for the next 4-6 months designed to guide 200 participants through different stages of their entrepreneurial journey.
Each session is designed to provide participants with knowledge and hands-on training on diverse themes related to entrepreneurship and skill development. Over 25 seasoned entrepreneurs from Sikkim, along with technical experts from various fields, will mentor and guide the participants throughout the program.
This workshop is completely free of cost, and participants are not required to pay any fees at any stage of the program. It is open to all residents of Sikkim with a valid Sikkim ID proof. Individuals of all age groups and from any background can apply. Preference will be given to applicants who show a genuine interest in entrepreneurship and are willing to attend all workshops.
The first workshop session is scheduled for 6th November 2025.
