"Soljarathon - The Great Himalayan Connect" Dignified presence of Honorable Governors of Sikkim & Mizoram in 2.0 State Level Marathon
"Soljarathan 2" today, October 26, 2025 O - The Great Himalayan Connect" State Level Marathon Grand Event held at Paljor Stadium, Gangtok. This event was organized under the joint supervision of Black Cat Division under the cooperation of Rajbhavan Sikkim and the Trishakti Corps of Indian Army. It aims to strengthen coordination, health awareness and unity between the military and the civil society.
On this occasion Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim Mr. Om Prakash Mathur and Hon'ble Governor General V.K. Singh (S.N.), PVSM, AVSM, YSM, ADC specially attended and encouraged the participants. During this time, GOC Major General of Black Cat Division M.S. Rathore was also present.
The program was inaugurated by Hon'ble Governor, Mizoram by showing green flag to the participants.
Active participation of Cross Country Teams, Ladakh Scouts, Sikkim Scouts and Dogra Scouts from Army. The participation of the disabled in about 3000 participants from various sectors has strongly demonstrated the spirit of inclusive society.
The country's diverse cultural presentations were also organized under the marathon, which touched the hearts of all the audience.
Hon'ble Governor, Sikkim along with Hon'ble Governor of Mizoram & GOC Black Cat Division honored senior citizens to children at the prize distribution ceremony at the program. In this cash amount has been provided by Rajbhavan.
The Governor has described the event an inspiring initiative towards the state's youth power, military-social coordination and civil consciousness. He congratulated the organizing committee, army officers, participants and all the co-operative organizations for this successful event.
During this time there was an atmosphere of enthusiasm at Paljor Stadium, and thousands of citizens have made the event historic with active participation.
