AYURVIDA Observed at Greenwood Academy, Rhenock
Pakyong, October 18: The Greenwood Academy, Rhenock, solemnly commemorated the observance of AYURVIDA through a profoundly edifying programme which accentuated the cardinal significance of mental health alongside the imperatives of holistic well-being. The initiative, conducted by the Department of AYUSH, Rhenock CHC, witnessed an erudite confluence of principal stakeholders, attracting the spirited involvement of both students and faculty members.
The proceedings commenced with a succinct yet intellectually stimulating discourse on mental health, delineating its symptomatic manifestations as well as efficacious coping mechanisms. This critical exposition was delivered by Dr. Aswin J. Kharka, MOIC, AYUSH, Rhenock CHC, before an audience of approximately 300 participants, comprising the principal, the teaching fraternity, parents and the student body of the academy.
Subsequent to the didactic session, the programme expanded into an encompassing rubric of clinical engagement which entailed a general medical check-up in conjunction with a specialized emphasis on Hemoglobin (Hb), Random Blood Sugar testing and Body Mass Index (BMI) assessments of 42, 20 and 22 participants were examined, concomitant with the dispensation of homoeopathic remedies intended to bolster systemic resilience and enhance overall vitality.
Thereby underscoring the indispensability of women’s health as a pivotal foundation for familial empowerment and socio-communitarian progress. The event was illumined by the spirited and vigorous participation of students and faculty alike and was orchestrated under the consummate stewardship of Dr. Aswin J. Kharka (MOIC, AYUSH, Rhenock CHC), alongside the collaborative support of Mrs Pramila Dhakal ( MLHP), Mrs Sangita Pradhan (Counselor) Nirnay Gurung ( MPHW),  and Mr Sam Tshering Lepcha and the Principal of Greenwood Academy.
The observance, in its essence, represented not merely an act of awareness-creation but a reaffirmation of the profound pertinence of integrative healthcare paradigms, wherein the traditional ethos of AYUSH stands as an enduring beacon of comprehensive well-being.
