District Education office Gyalshing Conducts Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) District Level Competitions
Gyalshing,October 17:
The Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) District Level Competitions was successfully conducted by the District Education Office, Gyalshing at Zilla Bhawan Kyongsa,today.
The event was graced by CEO Mr PG Bhutia alongside Joint Director Mr Rajesh Thapa, and Headmaster of Middle Gyalshing SS Mr Tashi Ongyal Bhutia,AEO of Gyalshing BAC Mr Benu Gopal Pradhan served as the judge for the competitions.
A total of 15 schools participated in the event, representing all five blocks of Gyalshing District, who had earlier emerged as winners at the Block Level competitions.
The event featured competitions in 3D Model Making, Quiz, and Dance, showcasing the creativity and talent of students across the district. In the results, Hee-Yangthang Senior Secondary School emerged as the winner in 3D Model Making, Radhu Junior High School won the Quiz Competition, and Lower Radhu Primary School secured the top position in Dance. The winners have been selected to represent the district at the State Level EBSB Competitions.
All participating schools received Certificates of Participation, while students were presented with gifts from the hands of the Chief Education Officer, Gyalshing District.
The event was successfully hosted under the guidance and coordination of Joint Director Education Mr Rajesh Thapa, along with officials from the District Education Office, Gyalshing, whose collective efforts ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the programme.
The Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) programme is a national initiative launched by the Government of India with the objective of promoting national integration, mutual understanding, and unity in diversity among citizens. Under this initiative, Sikkim is partnered with Delhi, fostering opportunities for students of both states to learn about each other’s history, culture, language, and cuisine, thereby strengthening the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.
