Distribution of PMFBY Policy Under “Meri Policy Meri Haath” Campaign Held at Sudunglakha GPK
Pakyong, October 13: A distribution programme under the “Meri Policy Meri Haath” initiative of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) was conducted at Sudunglakha Gram Panchayat Kendra (GPK) under the Rhenock Block. The event witnessed the presence of the Zilla Panchayat Member, Panchayat President, and the entire Panchayat body of the Gram Panchayat Unit (GPU). Also in attendance were officials including the Agriculture Development Officer (ADO), Horticulture Development Officer (HDO), Agriculture Inspector(AI)and the PMFBY District Coordinator, along with enthusiastic participation from local farmers.
The programme aimed to distribute PMFBY policies directly into the hands of insured farmers, reinforcing the core message of the campaign—transparency, empowerment, and awareness regarding crop insurance schemes. Farmers were briefed on the benefits of PMFBY, claim processes, and the importance of timely enrollment.
The initiative highlights the government’s commitment to ensuring that the benefits of agricultural insurance reach every eligible farmer and that they are well-informed about their policy details.
