Founder & Progressive Entrepreneur Dr. of 'Crafted Fibers' at Rajbhavan, Gangtok today Chewang Norbu Bhutia paid courtesy visit to Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim Mr. Om Prakash Mathur.
Dr. Bhutia informed the Honorable Governor about the developmental works being done by 'Crafted Fibers'. The organization has recently expanded its workplace, which has increased the number of employees with local youth and women moving towards self-reliance by joining the initiative.
He also shared that despite the number of taxes in the organization, more number needs to be increased, to further strengthen the production capacity.
Dr. Bhutia shared information about her recent US tour, where she showcased her organization's products on the international platform. Their products were appreciated there which has given global recognition to the cultural heritage of Sikkim.
Hon'ble Governor did Dr. Appreciating Bhutia's efforts, his work was described as inspiring for the social and economic development of the state. He learnt about the future plans of the organization and assured that Rajbhavan will provide all possible support.
Especially mentionable that Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi also did Dr. Chewang Norbu Bhutia was mentioned as a progressive entrepreneur in his popular radio show 'Man ki Baat'.
