October 5, 2025: Honorable Governor of Sikkim performed worship at Shaktipeeth Shakambhari Mata Temple; Inaugurated Chetna Kendra Bhawan.
Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim Mr. Omprakash Mathur performed formal pooja and worship at the famous Shaktipeeth Shakambhari Mata Temple located in Udaipurwati of Jhunjhunu district during his visit to Rajasthan today. During this time worship was conducted by the priest of the temple with Vedic chanting and traditional rituals. Governor sir prayed to Maa Shakambhari for happiness and prosperity along with wishes of public welfare.
After this, today the Governor inaugurated the Anandashree Chetna Kendra Bhavan located at Udaipurwati, Jhunjun district. He also observed the Medical Counseling Room, Culture Museum, Swadhyaya Kendra, Library & Library, Laxman-Hastimal Smriti Chetna Chitra Dirgha and Aabha Smriti Sanskar Vidya Vatika conducted in the central premises.
Central President and former Chancellor Dr. in the program. Lokesh Shekhawat, MLA Mr. Rajendra Bhambu, Dr. in charge of Bhavan. Many dignitaries including Tejashree Shekhawat, Co-in-charge Mrs. Jayashree Shekhawat welcomed the Governor. On this occasion, the Governor gave message of environment protection and mother respect by planting a native medicinal plantation under the 'Ek Tree Maa Ke Naam' campaign inspired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Also, the Hon'ble Governor also had lunch with the Chetna Kendra family. Distinguished people from different areas including Haryana State Information Commissioner Mr. Pradeep Shekhawat were present in the program. The Governor said the activities of the Consciousness Center as inspiration for cultural awareness, education and service that such institutions communicate positive energy in society and play a key role in nation building.
