Gyalshing District Observes Adi Sewa Parv under Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan
Gyalshing,October 3:As part of the ongoing Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, a series of activities were organised across different blocks of Gyalshing district to mark the Adi Sewa Parv.
The programme witnessed active participation of Block Development Officers, Panchayats,officials from line department, members of the public, volunteers, NGOs/CSOs, and trainers, reflecting strong community involvement and coordinated efforts.
Activities such as transect walks, focused group discussions (FGDs), gram sabhas, and special gram sabhas were conducted in several tribal villages across the district.
These platforms served as an important means to engage with communities, identify local needs, and encourage participatory planning for tribal development.
On 2nd October 2025, special gram sabhas were held in five blocks under Gyalshing district, covering the tribal villages under the Abhiyan. During these meetings, the Village Action Plans were deliberated upon and formally approved. The gatherings also endorsed the Tribal Village Vision 2030 for the identified pilot villages, setting out a long-term roadmap for sustainable and inclusive growth.
This initiative underscored the collective spirit of collaboration and reaffirmed the commitment to empowering tribal communities and realizing their developmental aspirations.
