Spot Verification Conducted for New Sub-Divisional Veterinary Hospital at Rabong South AHVS dept.
Namchi, 26 September : A spot verification and land measurement exercise for the proposed establishment of a new Sub-Divisional Veterinary Hospital at Rabong was carried out 23 rd /9/25, in the presence of Principal Director (VS) Dr. Sonam Poncho Bhutia, Additional Director (S)Dr latta rai, Assistant Engineer Er.Pretika Sharma
Junior Engineer Er Ujjala Darnal, and the staff of Rabong AH&VS.
The proposed infrastructure will include essential sections such as a vaccination room, inpatient ward for non-infectious cases, sick room, operation theatre, and a disease investigation laboratory. In line with BMW guidelines, the hospital will also incorporate biomedical waste management systems to ensure scientific disposal and environmental safety.
The establishment of this hospital marks a significant step in strengthening veterinary healthcare and supporting the livestock sector in Rabong South Sikkim. Sincere thanks to Principal Director AH for the initiative and guiding us.
Further, the Rural Development Department (RDD), with the support of SDM Rabong and ADC (Dev) Rabong, carried out measurements for the construction of a footpath and water supply connection for the newly shifted hospital(temporary) which has been relocated to the old goat farm area. The Department extends heartfelt gratitude to them for their active support.
