As a part of the ongoing POSHAN Maah 2025 celebrations, a block-level activity was conducted at Singhik Sentam Anganwadi Centre (AWC) on the theme of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) on Day 8 of Poshan Maah today.
The programme was observed in the presence of guardians, members of the panchayat, grandparents, and other community members. The objective was to raise awareness about ECCE within the ICDS framework, in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Participants were sensitized on the importance of ECCE in ensuring holistic development of children in the early years. The event emphasized the role of community involvement in the success of early childhood interventions.
The programme witnessed active participation from all members of the community , parents, Nutrition Inspector and ICDS staff contributing to the success of the event.
This initiative under POSHAN Maah served as a platform to strengthen community engagement and reinforce the importance of early childhood education for lifelong learning and development.
